Time Out says

Back in 1999, British actor and filmmaker Jeremy Gilley founded the charity Peace One Day to promote a global truce for at least 24 hours of the year – Sep 21, the International Day of Peace – and the ambassador is none other than cockerney Lewisham lad Jude Law. The concerts to raise money for the charity have been running since 2007, featuring a host of live acts, as well as appearances by both Gilley and Law. This year sees the folk-toned popster formerly known as Cat Stevens headline, plus 22-year-old Camden chanteuse Doolittle, with Dakar's most famous musical export, N'Dour and Brazil's finest cultural ambassadors AfroReggae in support. Plus more to be announced and a performance by the English National Ballet.
